Wanda Faye Olsen
COCHRANTON — Wanda Faye Olsen, 55, of 4464 Franklin Pike, Cochranton, died Monday June 22, 2009, at her residence.
Born Aug. 30, 1953, in Meadville, she was a daughter of E. Lyle and Oraleah Wheeling Olsen.
She was active during her younger years in special programs of United Cerebral Palsy. She also attended school at the Matheny School in Peapack, N.J. She attended Cochranton United Methodist Church.
She loved to travel with her family, and enjoyed her computer and creating gifts.
She is survived by her mother of Cochranton; a brother, James Olsen and his wife, Debbie, of Cochranton; a nephew, Timothy Olsen and his wife, Brandie; two great-nephews, Zachary and Justin Olsen; and her pet cat, Bobbie.
She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, Philip and Lillian Wheeling; and paternal grandparents, Dr. Rudolph and Eva Olsen.
Friends may call at Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc., 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bruce Judy officiating. Interment will be in Peter's Cemetery, Venango County.
