SAEGERTOWN — Mary (Mamie) L. Griffin, 89, of Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in McKeesport on Sept. 21, 1919, a daughter of Michael and Mary Golias Bozick. She married Maurice J. Griffin on June 19, 1937; he preceded her in death April 24, 1996.

She had been employed with Talon.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Maureen Osborne and her husband, Richard, of Saegertown, and Joan Merenda and her husband, Dominic, of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two sisters, Jeannie Ralich of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Dorothy Bozick of Monroeville; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

A private graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, West Mead Township.
