Mary E. Kazebee, 96, of 31 Park Ave., Meadville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 12, 2008, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.

Mary was born in Greenwood Township Oct. 21, 1911, a daughter of the late Ren and Cora Anthony Klinginsmith. On Feb. 12, 1977, Mary married Emile LeRoy Kazebee; he preceded her in death March 22, 1992. She previously had been married to Melvin S. Grinnell from May 6, 1935, until his death Oct. 16, 1973.

Mary was a member of Meadville Alliance Church and had been employed by the former Albro Packing Co. of Springboro.

She was a former member of the Oil City Motor Cycle Club and enjoyed spending winters in Eustis, Fla., with her husbands. When Mary was in her 20s and 30s, she was in a musical group that could be heard singing live on the radio. Mary enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing Uno and dominoes, but her greatest joy came from being with her children and grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

Mary is survived by three sons, Herman L. Grinnell and his wife, Cindy, of Atlantic, H. Glenn Grinnell and his wife, Nancy, of Espyville, and Larry C. Grinnell and his wife, Dixie, of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Millie Grinnell of Meadville; six grandchildren, Mark, Ned, Scott, David, Tod and Tina Grinnell; four great-grandchildren, Billy, Becky, Stevie and Ally Grinnell; a brother, Lawrence Klinginsmith of Thompson, Ohio; three stepchildren, Blaine Kazebee, Norma Britt and Stan Kazebee; 12 stepgrandchildren; 31 stepgreat-grandchildren; five stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to both her husbands and parents, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Harvey D. Grinnell; two daughters, Twila and Carol Grinnell; and a sister, Thelma Mae Leckie.

Family and friends are invited to call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Byham-Miller-Mizner Funeral Home Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral will be at Meadville Alliance Church, 660 N. Main St., at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Jeffrey Conley, pastor, officiating.

Interment will take place in Beaver Center Cemetery, Beaver Township.

The family requests memorials be made to Meadville Alliance Church, 660 N. Main St., Meadville, Pa. 16335.
