SENECA — Norma Jean DuMond, 67, of 1285 Horsecreek Road, Seneca, died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at 12:45 p.m. at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie.
She was born July 6, 1940, in South Shenango Township, a daughter of Floyd J. Holler and Myrtle E. Pollock Holler.
She was a graduate of Jamestown High School.
She has lived in the Seneca area most her life. She had worked as a school bus driver for Cranberry School District and also worked as an aide at Polk for more than 13 years until she retired so she could care for her husband who was ill.
She attended Church of the Nazarene.
She married Charles Lloyd DuMond Nov. 21, 1961; he preceded her in death Aug. 4, 2005.
Survivors include three sons, Clinton Lee DuMond of Seneca, Clair Lloyd and his wife, Brenda DuMond, of Oil City, and Christopher Allen and his wife, Jamie DuMond, of Sandy Lake; four brothers, James Holler of Jamestown, Ronald Holler of Conneautville, Donald Holler of Mercer and Clifford Holler of Meadville: a sister, Zelva Tate of Greenville; four grandchildren, Brady Dalton DuMond of Oil City, and Jemmalee DuMond, Jennifer DuMond and Jeanine DuMond, all of Sandy Lake; three half sisters, Mary E. McIntroy of Youngstown, lda C. Morrow of Hubbard, Ohio, and Frances Boyer of Florida; and a half brother, Lester Headley of Greenville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Mae Sims and Helen K. Calvert; two half sisters, Ethel Zimmerman and Pauline Wall; and three half brothers, Dave Holler, Robert Holler and Myron Holler.
At the request of Mrs. DuMond, there will be no visitation or viewing.
The memorial service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry, conducted by the Rev. William Hopkins, pastor of Church of the Nazarene in Oil City.
Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry.
