— FULLERTON, Calif. — John C. Spear, a long-time resident of Whittier, Calif., passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Fullerton, Calif.
He was born March 9, 1915, in Meadville.
John worked 37 years for the Post Office. He was a 16-year resident of Morningside in Fullerton.
John was preceded in death by Marie, his wife of 61 years.
He is survived by his very dear friend, Isabelle; and his five sons, Jay, Skip, Jim, Bob and Mickey, and their families. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Hillside Chapel at Rose Hills in Whittier, Calif.
