LONGMONT, Colo. — Ann T. Morton, former resident of Meadville, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, at the age of 81. She was a resident of Hover Manor, an independent living facility in Longmont, Colo.
Ann was born Feb. 28, 1927, in Guys Mills, to John and Gladys Tracy. She grew up in Meadville and graduated from Meadville High School and Antioch College of Ohio.
She married Edwin L. Morton Sept. 30, 1950. They established their first residence in Stratford, N.J., and later at Medford Lakes, N.J.
Ann was a homemaker and worked as an occupational therapist with handicapped children. She later worked at Medford Leas Retirement Village in Medford, N.J.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin L. Morton; and her brother, John R. Tracy. After the death of her husband, she moved to Casper, Wyo., to live with family.
Ann is survived by her three sons, Todd L. of Scottsdale, Ariz., Brett T. and his wife, Sandy, of Casper, and Gregg C. of Medford; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her sister, Jeannette and her husband, Ed Lees of Berthoud, Colo.; and her sister-in-law, Pat Tracy of Meadville.
Cremation has taken place.
Her interment will be at a later date in the Baptist Cemetery of Medford.
