Michael L. (Mike) Bloom

TITUSVILLE — Michael L. (Mike) Bloom, 49, of Titusville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008, quietly at his home following an extended illness.
Mike was born Dec. 25, 1958, in Titusville, a son of Howard A. Bloom and Mary Jackie Paris Bloom. He graduated from Maplewood High School in 1977.
Mr. Bloom was employed at Whitehead Tool & Design of Guys Mills until his illness.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, working, riding his three-wheeler, working with his tractor, classic vehicles and spending time around campfires.
Survivors include his wife, Cheri Schoch Bloom of Titusville; his parents of Titusville; four children, Michael L. Bloom Jr. of Conneautville, Marissa Bloom of Franklin, and Stacey Bloom and Jamie Bloom, both of Titusville; four stepchildren, Chad Schoch and his companion, Allison, of Cleveland, Ohio, Jeff Schoch of Titusville, Tammy Acel Smith and her husband, Donnie, of Centerville, and Ryan Acel of Waterford; a granddaughter, Sarah Acel; two brothers, Karl Bloom and his wife, Anita, of New York, and Mark Bloom and his wife, Chrissy, of Guys Mills; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents.
No public calling hours will be observed.
A private funeral will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home Inc., 203 E. Main St., Titusville.
