ERIE — Ruby (Helen) Rockwell, 95, of 5416 E. Lake Road, Erie, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, at Ball Pavilion, Erie.
Helen was born in Barberton, Ohio, Oct. 14, 1912, a daughter of the late LeRoy and Edna Dinkeldein Moyer. On Aug. 18, 1934, Helen married Irvin Franklin Rockwell; he preceded her in death in March 1971.
Helen was a homemaker and, in her earlier years while living in Meadville, attended St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.
Helen is survived by a half sister, Roberta Ann Krasinski of Niagara Falls; a half brother Winant John Bennett of Millcreek; and several nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Interment will take place in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Byham-Miller-Mizner Funeral Home Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
