The Tamarack Lake Kennel Club hosts Dog Agility Trials this weekend at the Conneaut Lake Recreational Area on Foust Road ending today Sunday July 27. The dogs of many different breeds were put through several obstacle course configurations and where judged on speed and acuracy.
Blog notes:
This sort of event is a great for a dog lover to cover. The difficult thing for me was to remember that these dogs are not familiar with me and especially my camera. Only a couple dogs took exception to me during the hour I was there. Its not an easy thing to photograph as the speed is impressive. I gave up trying to find a good background and light and just tried to follow a few dogs and hope to capture nice moments. If I get to do this ever again I'll really try to concentrate on the owners interaction which is probably what I should've been spending more time on anyway, but as stated before....dog lover!

Eli, a Cocker Spaniel, owned by Anne Kelly of Rochester, NY, jumps in the Tamarack Lake Kennel Club’s Agility Trial Friday at the Conneaut Lake Recreational Area on Faust Road. The event continues today and tomorrow and is open to the public. The dogs are judged on speed and agility as they run, jump, climb and obey their owners commands in a variety of obstacle courses set-up at the complex. RICHARD SAYER/Meadville Tribune
