New charges filed in soccer field burglary and arson

WEST MEAD TOWNSHIP — A Meadville area man is facing new charges — including multiple counts of arson — in connection with Aug. 10 vandalism at the Crawford County Youth Soccer Association fields and two other properties.

Dakota Wayne Little, 21, of 9045 Perry Highway, Meadville, was arraigned this afternoon before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on a total of 17 counts in connection with the case.

Pennsylvania State Police accuse Little of breaking into the CCYSA storage shed on Townline Road in West Mead Township between 1 and 4 a.m. Saturday, burning buildings and taking a powered golf cart. Little also is accused of vandalizing two other properties in the area.

See Wednesday’s print edition of The Meadville Tribune for additional details.
