Springboro woman hit with meth charges, among others

SUMMIT TOWNSHIP — A Springboro woman was jailed Thursday for allegedly operating a methamphetamine lab at 8605 Gehrton Road.

Carolyn Bayles, age unlisted, was arrested and later arraigned before Linesville-area Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on multiple charges, including methamphetamine production and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, according to state police.

She was placed in Crawford County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Troopers from the Troop E vice unit and clandestine laboratory response team serviced a search warrant on the lab’s location.
