Police: Numerous churches are burglarized

MEADVILLE — Five Crawford County churches have been burglarized as well as at least one other in Venango County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The burglaries were discovered Sunday morning as ministers and other church personnel arrived in preparation for the day’s services.

Approximately $400 in cash was taken from the office of one Titusville-area church while miscellaneous items were taken from the others.
