County senior centers helping elders stay cool

MEADVILLE — All Crawford County Senior Centers this week will be open as cooling centers to help older citizens cope with the extreme heat forecast for this week. The centers, which are air-conditioned have spaces to enjoy a cool atmosphere, socialize with others, enjoy cold drinking water, comfortable  seating and restrooms. Lunch will be served with reservations.   Please call  ahead for lunch times and reservations.
