Thurston flights are a go for tonight

MEADVILLE — The Thurston Classic Hot Air Balloon Event’s flights are set to soar on schedule today at 6:15 p.m. at Allegheny College’s Robertson Field on Meadville’s upper Park Avenue extension, according to event organizers.

Balloons will be inflated and lift off from the complex. Food and drinks are available on site. Official souvenirs on sale.

In addition, there will be live broadcasts on FROGGY, WUZZ and MAJIC radio from 5 to 7 p.m.
