Following along as Cochranton’s girls volleyball team competes for state title

For those unable to make the trip to York for the PIAA Class A girls volleyball championship between Crawford County’s Cochranton and its opponent Marian Catholic, follow along on the Tribune’s Twitter feed at twitter.com/tribune_sports.

The Tribune’s Lisa Byers will be at Central York High School tweeting during the match, which begins Saturday at 11 a.m.

District 10 champion Cochranton, which last won a state title in 2004, enters the match with a 19-0 record this season. Marian Catholic, the District 11 champion, is 23-2 this season.

Crawford County seeks its 11th state volleyball title overall and its eighth girls volleyball title. Linesville, which has since been consolidated with Conneaut Valley and Conneaut Lake to form Conneaut Area Senior High School, captured the county’s last state crown in 2011.
