SADSBURY TOWNSHIP —
Local law enforcement is working with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration to coordinate a National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The agencies coordinate a collaborative effort focused on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from medicine cabinets.
People may dispose of unwanted, unused or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications free of charge for destruction by law enforcement officers.
The anonymous service is free and open to the public.
