Crawford County welcomes first baby of 2013

MEADVILLE — Chance Maurice Henry became the first baby born in Crawford County in 2013 at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday to Shawn Henry and his fiancee, Nicole Fulmer, of Meadville.

Chance, the couple’s first child, weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches tall.

“I’m very happy,” said Fulmer. “To have such a healthy baby is very exciting.”

Titusville Area Hospital is still awaiting its first baby of the new year. As of Tuesday night, no babies had been reported born at Titusville.
