A low pressure situation affecting National Fuel natural gas customers in the Cambridge Springs and Saegertown areas has been resolved, according to the company.
The situation was discovered around 9 a.m. when there was a problem with a natural gas pumping substation and was resolved just before noon, according to Sandra James, National Fuel spokeswoman.
“No one lost service and the issue has been resolved,” James said.
During the low pressure situation customers were asked to turn down their thermostats to reduce gas usage as the extremely cold weather put a strain on the system in that area, James said.
