MEADVILLE — The new board of Trustees of Conneaut Lake Park has scheduled a public meeting June 25 to outline its proposed long term plan for Conneaut Lake Park amusement park.

The public meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. June 25 at the Conneaut Lake Park Volunteer Fire Department fire hall, Route 618, Conneaut Lake.

The announcement of the meeting came at Tuesday’s organizational meeting of the new Trustees of Conneaut Lake Park.

The new board approved the appointment of three additional members to its board — Joan Kozlowsky of Conneaut Lake Area Business Association; Tom Cholak of the Gannon University Small Business Development Center; and Maryann Martin, a retired economic development grant writer.

They join William Bragg, Joseph Ledford and Denny Watson on the new, current six-member board. Bragg, Ledford and Watson were appointed to the board last week under a consent decree approved by Crawford Court of Common Pleas. The previous seven-member Trustees board resigned as part of the consent decree approved by county court.

Paul Huber, who also had been appointed to new Trustees last week, has indicated to the board he will be unable to serve. Huber was not in attendance at Tuesday’s organizational meeting of the new Trustees board. Huber is expected to offer his formal resignation.
