Meadville street closures set for benefit event that helps wounded veterans

MEADVILLE — There are several road closures Saturday associated with the Italian Civic Club’s Operation: Wounded Vetz benefit concert series.

The closures of the following streets begin at 8 a.m. and run through midnight: Center Street from Market to Water streets with one lane left open for traffic existing the Market Square Ramp to turn west on Center to get to Water; Walnut Street from Market to Water streets; and Mulberry Alley from Center to Walnut streets.

The event is open to the public running from 3:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. and features food, raffles and five live bands.
