Severe thunderstorm watch, flood warning in effect

MEADVILLE — The National Weather Service has issued watches and warnings across the region, including Crawford County.

A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until Thursday at 1 a.m. for Crawford County and many neighboring counties, according to NWS.

Also, a flood warning is in effect until Thursday at 3:15 a.m. for Crawford County. Thunderstorms are moving through the area and up to an 1 1/2 inches of rain may fall. The ground is somewhat saturated and this may cause some flooding of roads, streams, creeks and rivers. More rain will occur during the overnight.
