Big news for anglers: Date set for Walnut Creek Marina to open for fishing

ERIE COUNTY — The Walnut Creek Marina basin will open for fishing at noon on Nov. 7, according to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.

Every year, anglers anticipate the removal of boat docks so the marina — at a prime spot along the creek — can be used for fishing

Anglers in the marina or Walnut Creek channel are reminded that boats have the right of way. All anglers must pull in their lines and yield to incoming or outgoing boats entering or exiting the channel and/or the marina.
