There are two dozen properties set for public sale by the Crawford County Tax Claim Bureau on Friday in the assembly room at the Crawford County Courthouse, 903 Diamond Park, Meadville.
Bidders must arrive at 9 a.m. and starting bid for each property is $500, according to Christine Krzysiak, director of the county tax claim bureau. The sale will begin at 10 a.m.
The properties are scattered across Crawford County and range from vacant land to land and buildings.
For the judicial sale, the bureau has petitioned Crawford County Court of Common Pleas and been granted a court order removing all encumbrances including liens and mortgages on the properties up for sale. The properties now are able to be sold free and clear to the highest bidder.
A full list of properties and terms of the sale are available at the bureau’s office located within the county treasurer’s office, or online at crawfordcountypa.net/treasurer.
