Published November 21, 2008 02:48 pm - NEW LOCAL: Dreamland, church arsonist, Pope, gets three to 20 years Nikolas Dean Pope, the Hartstown resident who pleaded guilty to burning down Conneaut Lake Park’s Dreamland Ballroom and Harmonsburg Presbyterian Church, was sentenced to a minimum of three years to a maximum of 20 years in prison followed by 10 years probation by Crawford County Court of Common Pleas Judge Anthony Vardaro.
Pope was also ordered to pay a total of $1,500 in fines and $1.7 million in restitution to the church, its insurance company and the trustees of Conneaut Lake Park.
