NEW LOCAL: You're invited to celebrate freedom and unity on Friday
You can go The Meadville chapter of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) is hosting its fourth annual Juneteenth Community Celebration Friday. This year’s celebration, “A Community Celebration of Freedom” is from 1 to 6 p.m. at Meadville’s Diamond Park. Events — free and open to public — include historical interpreters, cultural and educational presentations, music, artifacts and more.
