CONNEAUT LAKE PARK — As part of the Memorial Day holiday weekend, the park is celebrating with Do-Wopp music and classic cars Friday through Sunday.
Saturday at 7 p.m. is Johnny Angel & the Halos performing in concert at the Beach Club. Johnny Angel and the Halos is Pittsburgh’s popular oldies band. They have worked with great musical acts such as the Temptations, the Supremes, the Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Ray Charles and Little Richard. Opening for the local show is Jim Felix, an Elvis impersonator from Pittsburgh.
Doors open at 6. Tickets are $15 and are available in advance at the following locations: The Berry Basket, Crawford County Convention & Visitors Bureau, ERA Richmond Real Estate, Coldwell Banker Bainbridge Kaufman Real Estate, The Hotel Conneaut and The Beach Club. Cruise-In
Also taking place for the weekend is Classic Iron’s Do-Wopp Cruise-In at Conneaut Lake Park, sponsored by Community Chevrolet. There will be live music by DJ Dean Leonetti, 50/50 raffles and door prizes to benefit local charities. Live bands Pipe Dreams and Sofa King Cool will be playing Friday night and Sunday night. Food will also be available.

Another Memorial Weekend event is on the Conneaut Lake schedule. A Memorial Day Parade will be held in Conneaut Lake Borough on Monday at 10 a.m. sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Conneaut Lake.
