There's great family fun in Diamond Park on Thursday night and you're invited

MEADVILLE — The Meadville Council on the Arts’ final summer concert series performance is by the Tiger Maple String Band Thursday at 7 p.m. around the Dexter A. Bulen Gazebo in Meadville’s Diamond Park. It is presented free of charge thanks to concert and series sponsor Bush Investment Group.

Tiger Maple String Band is an energetic collection of musicians dedicated to continuing traditional and old time Americana music. The band features Lori Burke on vocals and guitar, Justine and Alison Parker on fiddle, Barry Smith on banjo, and Fred Parker on guitar and vocals.

The sound of Tiger Maple String Band has rich historical and cultural values.

The Council on the Arts recommends that attendees bring a chair or blanket for maximum comfort. There will be family friendly activities during the concert.

In case of rain, the concert will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 356 Chestnut St.
