DRAWING: Meadville Council on the Arts hosts the class for six weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8:30 p.m. through Aug. 27. The class covers the basics of drawing, such as highlighting and shadows, contour and gesture drawing, etc. Students will draw a still life, do figure drawing from a model and try landscapes from photographs and real life. STAINED GLASS: Dorothy Mitchell holds two stained glass classes at the Oil Valley Center for the Arts. MEADVILLE’S HISTORIC MARKET HOUSE: New works by A4E artists now on exhibit at the gallery located on the first floor of the historic Meadville Market House.
