Free show says it will help you in "Finding a Message in a World aTwitter"

CONNEAUT LAKE — SpiriTed, a duo that has won awards from PBS and the motion picture industry, is coming to Trinity United Methodist Church, 240 N. 3rd St., Conneaut Lake, for a free event on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Daily columnist/humorist Jonathan Richard Cring and artist/musician Janet Clazzy will perform during their “2013 Tour: Finding a Message in a World aTwitter.” The performance includes comedic and inspirational essays from Cring’s national daily column at jonathots.com, with original musical tunes played by Clazzy on the oboe and WX-5 Wind Machine.

Cring is the author of 11 titles, including “Digging for Gold and “20 Other Reasons to Kiss a Frog.”

“We take some time to bring you music, humor fresh insights into life in these United States and ways to find a message,” Cring said. “The program is a non-stop, inter-generational explosion. You will find it to be an evening full of inspiration — minus incrimination — busting forth with innovation.”

Clazzy has played in orchestras from coast to coast and sometimes is proclaimed to be “the female Kenny G.”

“I have this fabulous instrument called the WX-5 Wind Machine, which gives me 250 sounds at my fingertips,” Clazzy said. “We call the music clazzy — the spirit of classical with the soul of jazz — pop-minded.”

A free-will offering will be taken and copies of books, CDs and DVDs will be available for purchase.
