ERIE — Reality TV star Willie Robertson, chief executive officer of the multimillion-dollar sporting goods empire Duck Commander, will be the guest speaker at the Manufacturer & Business Association’s 109th Annual  Event, starting at 5:30 p.m. May 17 at Erie Insurance Arena.

“Willie Robertson is the head of one of the most successful family owned businesses in operation in  America today,” said Tammy Polanski, spokeswoman for the Association. “We are thrilled to have him speak on the journey he and his family have taken to create and manage the empire it has become.”

Robertson is best known for his reality television series on A&E’s “Duck Dynasty,” which is expected to draw a record number of viewers for its Season 5 premiere tonight and follows the lives of the Robertson family and the family business in West Monroe, La. Robertson is also executive producer of both “Duck Dynasty” and “Buck Commander,” and exudes a passion for inspiring future hunters by showing the outdoor lifestyle and hunting experience in a fun and entertaining way.

Robertson and his wife, Korie, are parents to John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and a foster daughter, Rebecca.
