MEADVILLE — ARTS FOR EVERYONE: WEEKLY EVENT UPDATE

AUTUMN CLASSES AT THE RED BARN: Join A4E artist Becky Schellhaas for a decorative class on Christmas tree wall/door decoration. All materials are included. The class will meet on Nov. 5 at 5:30 p.m. Class size is limited to eight members and there’s a cost to participate. RED BARN GALLERY & STUDIO: Will be open throughout the month of October and, weather permitting, for selected additional times throughout the autumn season. Weekly demonstrations in the art of carousel carving, feather-painting, weaving and spinning and more. Located at the entrance to the Conneaut Lake Bark Park, Foust Road, Conneaut Lake, featuring the works of more than 24 local and regional artists, including the newest works by A4E participating artists. RALPH MILLER JEWELERS AND GALLERY: The next Gallery Tour Night is Dec. 6 in association with the annual Erie’s Downtown D’Lights Event. Now on exhibit it the ‘Colors Of The Seasons 3,’ featuring recent works by RMJ artists Carrie and Liza Magee, Sally Griffin, Janice and Daniel Niebauer; ‘Four Seasons’ ceramics by Greg Lee Carlson of Palm Springs, Calif.; new oil paintings by Diane Wentzel Pierce; sculptured eagles by Russ Banks; watercolors by Sally Griffin; and featured works by ‘Art4Everyone’ artists Carolyn Nowack, Terry Werneth, Jan Werneth, Victoria Norvaisa, Don Valentine and E. ARTS ERIE: ArtsErie and Erie Downtown Arts & Culture Coalition hold the 2013 Fall for Arts & Culture Appreciation Awards on Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the H.O.Hirt Auditorium followed by a reception at the Erie Maritime Museum for outstanding service and dedication to arts and culture in the region.

MEADVILLE’S HISTORIC MARKET HOUSE: View the newest autumn creations by A4E artists now on exhibit at the gallery located on the first floor of the Meadville Market House. Selections include works by more than 20 A4E participating artists, including the hand-spun weavings of Judy Hanninen, the crystal glass sculptures by Becky Schellhaas, and the most recent creations by Jan Werneth, Terry Werneth and Carolyn Nowack. Also included are works by the newest A4E artists.

CAMPBELL POTTERY: Through Oct. 20, ‘David Seitzinger & Brain Pardini’ features a mixture of work by two artists from the Erie area who are both sculptors and friends. With very different styles and materials, their work is united by form, line, movement, mass, and often, a sense of playfulness. Free and open to the public.
