Flood warning in effect for Crawford County

A flood warning is in effect until 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in Crawford County, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

The flood warning is for Crawford County including the City of Meadville, southern Erie County including Albion and northeastern Ashtabula County in Ohio that includes the City of Ashtabula.

Heavy rain has fallen over the warning area. The rainfall is heavy enough to produce flooding, according to the NWS. Radar estimates more than two inches of ran have fallen over portions of the warned area.

Some locations that many experience flooding include Meadville, Springboro and Conneautville in Crawford County, and also Ashtabula.
