RoboBOTS 2014 results

MEADVILLE — The following teams finished in the top four places of the 2014 RoboBOTS competition at Meadville Area Senior High School which concluded Saturday evening.

First place — Cochranton High School team Millennium Force with bot “Earthshaker.”

Second place — Cochranton High School team Wolfpack with bot “Falken.”

Third place — Saegertown High School team Menace with bot “Black Widow.”

Fourth place — Cochranton High School team The Crusaders with bot “Excalibur.”

The following schools and teams won these voter-based awards as decided by judges, advisers, announcers and participating teams.

Best Documentation — Cochranton High School

Coolest Bot — General McLane High School for bot “John Guzik.”

Best Sportsmanship — Saegertown High School

Best Engineers — Meadville Area High School team The Doctors for bot “Thresher’s Revenge.”

King of the Ring — Cochranton High School team Millennium Force with bot “Earthshaker.”
