Two-vehicle Vernon crash involves at least six

VERNON TOWNSHIP — A two-vehicle accident involving at least six people occurred late Tuesday night on Perry Highway, according to local police scanner transmissions.

The accident, which left one vehicle on its side, occurred around 9:50 p.m. on Perry Highway near Mullen Road, according to scanner reports.

Three patients were reportedly transported to UPMC Hamot in Erie — one by helicopter and two by ground — and two were transported to Meadville Medical Center.
