Flood watch issued for Crawford County

A flood watch is in effect late tonight into Thursday afternoon for Crawford County, northwest Pennsylvania and portions of Ohio, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

Slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rain may cause localized flooding in the area. Areas could receive upwards of three inches of rainfall. Heavy rainfall from Tuesday’s thunderstorm has saturated the soil in many areas and the soil will not hold much more water.
