Bloomberg News

MEADVILLE — Crawford County is under a winter storm warning from 8 p.m. today to 5 p.m. Wednesday with as much as 10 inches of snow expected to fall, according to the National Weather Service’s Cleveland office.

During the warning period, winds will range from northeast to north starting at 10 to 20 mph and increasing to 15 to 25 mph by Wednesday morning. Visibility will decrease to a quarter mile at times with temperatures in the low- to mid-20s.

The Weather Service warns that snow-covered roads will make driving slow and hazardous and it suggest drivers use “extreme caution if travel is unavoidable.”
