Up to eight inches of snow expected for Crawford County on Wednesday

MEADVILLE — A lake effect snow advisory that is in effect from Wednesday at 6 a.m. to Thursday at 4 a.m. could dump upwards of eight inches on Crawford County Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

Snow accumulations of two to four inches are expected for Wednesday and one to four inches are expected for Wednesday night. Snow showers will become widespread Wednesday and then shift south later in the night before decreasing as the flow becomes northwest.

Winds are expected to be between 15 and 20 mph while visibilities are under a mile in the heaviest snow showers.
