Students take on role of diplomats in model U.N. program By Jamie MusickDuring the process, Comstock said she even met “a lot of people who could be future politicians. It was nice to see people in my generation were taking it seriously, since they’ll be the future.”
Topping off the entire experience, according to Comstock, was the opportunity to visit Pittsburgh. “I’m going to school in Pittsburgh in the fall,” she said. “I was looking forward to the whole experience because I knew it was bound to be a good time. “I think schools that don’t have Model U.N. set up should because I think it’s a really good program for the youth to get involved in.” Jamie Musick can be reached at 724-6370 or by e-mail at jmusick@meadvilletribune.com.
