Looking Back: From the photographic archives of the Meadville Tribune

The caption left on the back of this 8-by-10 photograph reads: A force of security guards stood watch over the Keystone Ordnance dynamite factory when it was at the height of production in the 1940s to help supply war needs. Among the guards is Ralph Rudy, second from right in second row, husband of Sarah Rudy of Meadville, who submitted the photo. Editor’s note: We’re unsure what it was used for, but a note at the bottom simply read Crawford History and it apparently appeared on page 61 of the publication.
